This fall, the Gifford family invites you to visit Liberty Ridge Farm and experience farm-friendly hospitality. Now entering its eighth exciting season, visiting the farm has become a tradition for families and friends in the Capital Region and beyond.
Take a drive to the northern part of the Hudson Valley, and come to Liberty Ridge Farm. Enjoy the fresh air and pristine view from this beautiful 100-acre farm nestled on the banks on the Hoosic River in Schaghticoke, NY. It’s just 30 minutes from Albany and Saratoga Springs.
THERE’S ALWAYS GOOD FARMIN’ FUN FOR EVERYONE
Liberty Ridge Farm is host to the Capital Region’s premier Agritourism destination. You can venture by day or night through a labyrinth of 13 foot high cornstalks in the area’s largest corn maze. The "Barnyard" is full of activities for tots, teenagers and adults. Visit Rabbit Town, slide down the Silver Mine Chute, use your human power to maneuver the Raspberry Rotor and Pedal Carts or simply dance around the Hill Billy Band who is always playing. The Li’l Farmersville is designed for those just 6 yrs old and under. The trolley will take on a leisurely ride through the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin for carving, decorating, or making pies. There is enough to enjoy a whole day on the farm.
The farm kitchen serves up soups, sandwiches, fresh baked pies and cider donuts. Dining on the deck is a special treat over looking the fields and the stunning scenery that surrounds the farm.
